Spring Break for WHO?

Don't get me wrong, I love my kids. But man, when they are together it's either they LOVE LOVE LOVE each other, or they annoy the heck out of one another.

I anticipated that it would be a crazy week with Riley home all day. She's used to the hustle and bustle of school which has been great for her. She is able to be extremely social and active, all while learning. At home, she pretty much is begging to watch movies and sitting like a lump or doing cardio because she has to run away from Ronan as he chases her with an open mouth to BITE HER!

It's obvious that Ronan loves having her around. He looks at her with this look he has and follows her around the house everywhere she goes. This morning, I had turned on The Little Mermaid (because the only movies we are allowed to watch until WDW are Disney movies!) and I saw them both sitting on the couch, cuddling with each other. Not ten minutes later, I hear a scream -- and it's Riley saying that Ronan bit her. He's just crazy. I call it a love bite, but others might call it a mean bite. Nonetheless, it's a bite!

I'm sure with Riley being home, it's messing up Ronan's routine of having his Momma all to himself, but I just savor those moments he actually plays with someone other than me when Riley's home. Ahh, how amazing those 3 minutes of peace can be!

Anyhow, Riley's spring break is over on Monday and then MY spring break happens in 20 days! WDW here we come!!! It would be nice for it to finally get here, so I can stop dreaming about it and start living it. I'm so excited for a REAL family vacation. We've driven across the US twice and even though we stayed in nice hotels, it's not the same when the purpose of that drive is to move. It'll be nice to stay in a beautiful resort, eat all we want, relax and visit with the big Mouse. Woo woo!

As for the trip, yes, I have lots of stuff planned, but we are going to be spontaneous too! I'm forever doing research on the Internet about it and from what I've read, you've got to make lots of dining reservations to ensure you don't wait forever to eat. Being as we have this amazing meal plan attached to our vacation, I had to pre-plan most of our meals and though it might seem like we are revolving our days around food (I mean, who doesn't!), we aren't...we are going to do fun stuff, too! Definitely gonna ride some rides, maybe traumatize the little man with a scary ride just for kicks (I'm kidding), and spend lots of money we shouldn't on souveniers and goodies! Can't wait.
