We didn't do anything crazy or anything to Riley, but I had to share to share a couple funny stories...
(I didn't do this one, but this will give you an idea of our sick and twisted sense of humor we have here.)
Ryan told me to drive Riley to the empty housing development lot in the morning and tell her that her school had burnt down.
WRONG, just wrong.
(I did this one, though...)
Riley was sitting at the dining room table yesterday and I was sitting on the couch. And in a solemn tone, I said to her, "Riley, I am so sorry, but we aren't going to Disney anymore. We just can't go and I'm sorry."
Her face drooped and because I'm really bad at letting things go for too long, I smiled and said, "Haha, just kidding, April Fools!"
And this is the response I got:
I didn't think you were telling the truth, Momma, because you have been dreaming about going.

too funny! You're on the right track to teaching that girl to have a sense of humor :) (or just freaking her out, one or the other)
