From the mouth of Riley

We were eating lunch at Sweet Tomatoes this afternoon when Ryan got frustrated with Riley over not listening...to which he said:

Ryan: Dammit, Riley.
Riley: (sulking....)
Me: Riley, what's wrong? We aren't mad at you, we just need you to listen when we talk to you.
Riley: (still sulking...) Well, Daddy called me a bad word.
Ryan: What word was that? I didn't call you bad word.
Riley: You called me Dammit.

Apologies were exchanged and explanations were done, but man, was that funny. It took everything not to laugh, especially because now when we laugh at something she says she thinks we are making fun of her. Ahh....a 6-year-old. What fun.
